Fig. 1

The analysis of differential expression genes in germinal vesicle (GV) oocytes was conducted comparing control patients with normal ovarian reserve (NOR) and patients with diminished ovarian reserve. (A) Principal components analysis (PCA) plots for the single cell transcriptomes of GV oocytes. PC1 accounted for 26.72% of the total variability, while PC2 explained 8.86% of the total variability. The distinct colors assigned to individuals represent two clusters consisting of 23 samples. (B) A volcano plot depicted the distribution of differential expression genes (DEGs) in DOR oocytes compared to Control oocytes. The significant changes corresponded to a 2-fold change with a P-value less than 0.05. DEGs with the top 20 P-values were labeled. (C) The heatmap visually displayed the difference in gene expression between control group and DOR group. (D) Bubble plot showed the enriched Gene Ontology (GO) terms of down-regulated DEGs in DOR oocytes. (E) Bubble plot showed the enriched Gene Ontology (GO) terms of up-regulated DEGs in DOR oocytes. (F) Bubble plot showed the enriched KEGG Ontology (KO) terms of down-regulated DEGs in DOR oocytes
